Roch’s early training in traditional oil painting has directly influenced her use of pastels. As such, Jacqueline’s pastels are more painting than drawing. She layers the pastels to create complex colors and is able to achieve a quality reminiscent of oils.
Most recently, she now works and exhibits her work in the historic bakehouse art complex in the wynwood arts district of miami. She was selected as the poster artist for the number one ranked outdoor festival in the country , the Coconut Grove Arts Festival and the image went on to win the industries Pinnacle award.
