Barbara has been painting and drawing since her childhood, and currently teaches at Johns Creek Arts Center in Johns Creek, GA and Spruill Center for the Arts in Dunwoody, GA. After years of painting in oil, Barbara developed a passion for pastel. Primarily a landscape and still life artist, she strives to interpret a mood through color and composition, rather than simply copy a scene before her. Barbara received her BA in Art from The College of New Jersey in 1986, attended the School of Visual Arts in New York in 1987, and studied with numerous art instructors over the years.
