Virginia Dauth is originally from New Jersey and currently resides in Kennesaw, Georgia. She graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.A. in Studio Art. She took further instruction in oils, but was taken with the immediacy, lushness and vibrancy of pastels.

Artist Statement: It is through the genre of landscapes that I express my creative energy. I desire to follow in the spirit of the great American landscapes with my own style and sense of vision. Mother Nature is organic and alive, offering us a respite from man-made forms of encroachment. She soothes and energizes, allows us to be in awe of line, shape, texture and contrast. Nature is the key to all color.
