The Southeastern Pastel Society was established in 1987 as a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting pastel as a medium in the Southeast. The Society has now grown to over 250 members, from all over the United States and other nations throughout the world.
The SPS plays a vital part in the Renaissance of Pastel by providing an important channel for communication and an environment in which the pastel artist may flourish. Through the SPS International Open Juried Exhibition, Our Members' Juried Exhibition, the monthly meetings, and our newsletter, The Dustbuster, members enjoy sharing knowledge, learning new techniques and passing on published information.
Visit our members' gallery and the individual artists' pages to see some of the best pastel paintings in the country. |
